Current research shows that 66% of working parents are experiencing burnout leading to increased child maltreatment, parental conflict, suicidal ideation and substance abuse. Participants will learn how to assess, diagnose, and treat parental burnout using evidence-based tools that are applicable across diverse settings
(private practice, outpatient clinics & hospitals) and modalities (individual & groups). Additionally, participants will explore a continuum-based resiliency model aimed at cultivating client strengths and improving emotional intelligence competencies that directly enhance their client’s ability to reduce stressors and enhance resources that specifically target parental burnout symptoms.
