Sibling Loss is an under recognized & disenfranchised grief process that has not been given a lot of attention in grief related literature & trainings. This training will assist helping professionals with becoming informed about the unique aspects & nuances involved with sibling loss. Participants will also become more familiar with the impact of sibling loss through the lens of the Dual Process Grief Model, as well as gaining knowledge on how clients can continue relationships with loved ones through the utilization of the Continuing Bond Theory. 

Participants will have an opportunity to practice & home skills through the review of Sibling Loss case studies, group exercises, as well as participating in the experiential Grief House exercise. Webinar learners will more confidence in their skills to work with bereaves siblings after participating in this training.

To earn CE credit, social workers must log in at the scheduled time, attend the entire course and complete an online course evaluation. Certificates of completion will be emailed within 10 business days of course completion.
