Illness-related anxiety presents unique challenges for children, adolescents, and their caregivers. This workshop provides pediatric clinicians with a specialized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) toolkit designed to help young patients navigate the complexities of chronic or acute medical conditions. CBT offers practical, often easy-to-use methods to relieve anxiety. In turn, it empowers our clients to have a set of tools they can use in many daily life experiences. Participants in this workshop will receive an opportunity to practice and apply CBT skills and leave with a set of practical take-home worksheets that can be introduced into their daily practice with clients.
