In this second webinar of the five part series, participants will learn about the stages of acculturation and its impact on immigrants. We will discuss presenting problems such as intergenerational conflicts, immersion, and communication. We will also focus on the definition of resiliency, as it relates to the influence of culture and diversity. To provide a holistic understanding of the immigrant experience, you will be provided real life examples as case-studies for analytic purposes. This will allow us to explore the many dimensions of acculturation, assimilation, and adaptation.
