Biography
Vanessa Daza-Heck is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey with a strong clinical foundation shaped by international training and practice. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University, a degree in Psychology from Universidad La Salle in La Paz, Bolivia, and a Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychology from Universidad Miguel de Cervantes (UEMC) in Barcelona, Spain. She has also completed postgraduate training in Family Systems Therapy in both Barcelona and Sevilla. Vanessa currently works as a psychotherapist at MUUNAR, a psychotherapy center dedicated to serving immigrant communities through culturally responsive and trauma-informed care. With a deep personal and professional commitment to the immigrant experience, Vanessa’s work emphasizes the impact of intergenerational trauma, cultural identity, and the challenges that immigrants and their children may face.
