Mindfulness has become one of the most widely used interventions, with classes, apps and podcasts boosting how it can dramatically improve our wellbeing and mental health. But how does mindfulness work in a clinical setting? How effective is mindfulness in treating anxiety, which affects almost 20% of adults in the United States? This webinar will identify prevalent anxiety disorders and explain how mindfulness and meditation based interventions can treat these disorders. Additionally, mindfulness will be explained as an evidence-based practice and participants will learn how to address challenges that may arise from utilizing this intervention.
