Clara Pritchett is the Executive Director of the Body Empowerment Project, where she leads eating disorder prevention efforts and co-authored the organization’s school-based curriculum. She holds a B.A. in Africana Studies from Brown University, where she createdand taught a course on diet culture and completed honors research on the racial construction of the obesity epidemic. Clara has presented widely on body liberation, mental health equity, and fatphobia, and has worked with organizations like NAAFA, DARE, and NAMI’s Next Gen Council.
