There is a dire need to support continued attention and education to ensure positive mental health outcomes and well-being for those engaging in social media use. For children, adolescents, and even adult populations, safety measures must be taken to prevent online predation, exploitation, harassment, and cyberbullying. This webinar will discuss the prevalence, predictors, and cautions of adverse social media experiences among vulnerable populations. Information, strategies, and resources concerning safety will be discussed, with a special focus on supporting individuals in promoting safe outcomes when engaging in social media use.
