This 7-hour webinar will examine the history of crisis intervention and trauma response over the past century. This will be done as a means to understand the current response models and intervention techniques which will be specified and discussed particularly as they relate to different affected populations (civilians, first responders, schools, etc.). Relevant research will be considered as a means to evaluate the effectiveness of these crisis response models. Community resources related to crisis and trauma will be identified. This webinar will include lecture, discussion and experiential formats. Attendees must attend the full day to receive a certificate of completion.
