This interactive webinar focuses on major legal and ethical issues involved in clinical supervision. Participants will have the opportunity to rate their own ethical and legal knowledge, discuss the research regarding legal and ethical issues, and practice utilizing theory and various models to help amplify superior knowledge regarding liability. *This is a full-day webinar, 9:30am-3pm, with half hour lunch. Attendees must attend the entire day to receive a certificate of completion.
To earn CE credit, social workers must log in at the scheduled time, attend the entire course and complete an online course evaluation. Certificates of completion will be emailed within 10 business days of course completion.
This is a standalone webinar. It can also be taken as part of a four-webinar series to meet the New Jersey 20-hour clinical supervision training that is required for LCSWs to supervise LSWs seeking to obtain their LCSW. Completing all four of the single-day webinars listed below will meet the 20-hour NJ requirement.
This webinar provides 5 clinical continuing education (CE) hours and counts toward the 20 hours of clinical supervision training required to supervise NJ LSWs seeking their LCSW. Please note that the NJ Board of Social Work Examiners does not permit a webinar to carry two CE designations. Therefore, this webinar provides clinical CE hours only and does not provide ethics CE hours.
